The Start...

Hey everyone. This is my first time using anything that is even related to a blog service. I have seen some of my friends use this service and I thought that I would give in. My blog will consist of a little bit of everything, all centered around a journey that is focused on Jesus Christ.

Well, this year has been a great start. Last summer gave me a better mindset in working with a team, growing deeper in a walk with Christ, and grow in my education at Indiana State. In the year 2010 I have been able to take those gains and merge them into my life in the start of this year. I know that God is in control, that He has the keys to all, and I understand the reality that there is no one else I need to place my faith in. God says it well in His word for us to not store our treasures on earth but to store your treasures in heaven where the moths cannot destroy it. In the start of this year I have a new goal (not really a resolution).... to read the Bible in one year. I came up with this idea right before I left Indiana State for Christmas break. Currently, I am getting ready to read Genesis 22 and am a few days away from getting through Genesis. I have never looked at the book of Genesis after really getting into the word.
