An end to a long Christmas break!!

Well everyone... I am now to the end of a long break from school and getting ready to start a new semester on my 4th year at Indiana State. What is next? What is on the horizon? That is a great question and one that I will find out once God reveals what needs to be revealed...

This Christmas break was nothing short of a relaxing yet inspiring break. This break had a lot of moments both with family and friends. I had the opportunity to connect with a few people and reconnect with people I have not seen in days, months, and years. Also, I had a great opportunity to stay at home for the longest period of time since I have been a high school student. Wow, since I was a high school student, that was in the year 2006. It is now the year 2010 and there is nothing to do but continue moving forward with the One that has already paved the path and made it all possible...

Scriptures throughout the bible talk about the enormous beauty and power of Christ and at the same time provide a lot of promises for everybody. A promise from the bible that I recently just came across was from Genesis 18:23-32. In a nutshell this scripture provides in a great conversation between Abraham and God. Abraham kept talking to God in reasoning with the city of Sodom. The talk between God and Abraham was on trying to save Sodom and that God would not destroy the city. Long story short God points into detail that He would spare the city even if there were a hand-full of "righteous" people. This gives us a great opportunity also that if God will spare a city with a hand-full of people for Christ that He will continue to remain in us...

That is something that has truly struck in my mind... we as humans do not deserve any of this life with Christ, but because of what Jesus did He became the only sacrifice and penalty on our behalf. So, I am ready to take on the semester with flying colors for Christ, no matter what direction Christ is leading in. May God be the center of it all and the glory of the entire world.
